    Colour - Yellow

The sun is kissed on your face giving the warm comforting feeling of the beam of light. Like the arms of a mother reaches the love of the child the sunbeams touch the heart and fill the bounty of life. Like the shadows of light so are the shades of yellow. As the sun moves away from the face and the shadows move over the face the colours of yellow go from spring yellow to mustards and almost brown the colour of the earth. Feel the colours in life.

The sense of Sight and seeing is something that can be taken for granted. Colour is all around us, in varying shades and hues, as any good photographer will tell you it will depend on the light and contrast. An example of this would be the colour green. My description of green would be barefoot on the grass. Then depending on the texture of the grass it becomes the shades of colour. Describing a lush grass or dry grass, damp or prickly gives the feel of various shades. Welcom
    May Gathering.

    May Gathering.

Our May Gathering is traditionally our fundraising meeting. With a yummy hot potato lunch served with all the trimmings, our "stripey" bag raffle with lots of great prizes and other fun events. All money raised at the gathering will go to the Stroke Foundation. Rae Telfer was our guest speaker and gave a very entertaining talk of her quilt journey. She displayed an enormous collection of beautiful quilts all hand pieced and quilted a fantastic achievement. You can find out
